New York, 8 March 2017 - Women’s rights are human rights. But in these troubled times, as our world becomes more unpredictable and chaotic, the rights of women and girls are being reduced, restricted and reversed.
A main concern for United Nations Peacekeeping over the years has been combating and preventing sexual exploitation and abuse in our field missions.
Along with education and training, transparent and easy access to information is important to strictly enforce UN standards of conduct.
