Today is International Day of Biodiversity!  As we encroach on nature and deplete vital habitats, increasing numbers of species are at risk. That includes humanity and the future we want.

UNFICYP welcomes today’s discussion between the leaders and their decision to ease restrictions at the crossing points.

We stand ready to assist the sides and the bi-communal Technical Committee on health on the way forward as the situation allows.
