New York, 9 March 2017 - The Secretary-General today released his report on Special Measures for Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse: A New Approach for consideration by the General Assembly. 

A main concern for United Nations Peacekeeping over the years has been combating and preventing sexual exploitation and abuse in our field missions. 

Along with education and training, transparent and easy access to information is important to strictly enforce UN standards of conduct. 

Nicosia, 1 March 2017 - Today, the three Members of the Committee on Missing Persons, Ms. Gülden Plümer Küçük, Mr. Nestoras Nestoros and Mr. Paul-Henri Arni, met with representatives of associations representing the families of missing persons.
