Nicosia, 11 February 2017 - The Special Representative of the Secretary-General in #Cyprus, Ms. Elizabeth Spehar, joined women and men for the ONE Billion Rising- Nicosia event at Faneromeni Square to take a stand against the sexual exploitation of women. One Billion Rising is a global movement inspiring women and men in 207 countries to come together, express their outrage, and to "strike, dance and rise" against violence. The event was organised by the Cyprus Women's Lobby.
