Thirty-one UNFICYP peacekeepers from 11 contingents of the UN Police (UNPOL) were awarded medals for their contributions to peace in Cyprus, in a ceremony held at the UN headquarters in Nicosia today.

This afternoon, UNFICYP held the monthly NGO networking session with representatives from several civil society organisations from across the island on mental health and wellness and the importance of inner peace during the COVID-19 pandemic.
