Her Royal Highness Princess Anne paid a visit to Cyprus on 4 February 2016, where she met British troops from her honourary regiment serving on the island as part of UNFICYP. Princess Anne also met the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General in Cyprus, Lisa Buttenheim, and UNFICYP Force Commander Major General Kristin Lund.

She praised the professionalism of the British troops and thanked them for their dedicated service.
