English language training for Abyei Journalists Public Information Office officially launched English language training for Abyei journalists in November 2021. The first phase of the 4 month training, conducted in collaboration with UN Police, attracted 18 media practitioners, including government officials. Participants include journalists, freelancers, aspiring journalists and officials from the Ministry of Information. The English language training is part of UNISFA's efforts to promote & strengthen professional journalism in Abyei.
