4 June 2015 - In this episode, Afghanistan Emrooz features stories about women who participate and engage in public life, exploring the positive effects on their wellbeing and future outlook. The first part of the programme visits a group of women artists who set up an art gallery in Kabul and aim to sensitize the Afghan public to modern art.

2 June 2015 - Afghanistan must shield and develop its real human rights advances, said a senior UNAMA official in recent interview, pledging the UN’s commitment to remaining centre stage with Afghans to safeguard the gains and prevent any rollback. UNAMA’s Human Rights Director, Georgette Gagnon who just completed her service over five years expressed hope that human rights achievements will be advanced in the years ahead.
